Dog Events at Orvis

The following are events held at the Orvis store at Clay Terrace in Carmel. Dogs are always welcome at Orvis. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Orvis, it is a high end outdoors store focusing on fishing and hunting. They have lots of dog items.

Saturday, Oct. 4 – 11am-Noon: Dog Training Seminar Brad Pfifer, CPDT, Director of Pet Behaviors at Bark Tudor School for Dogs will be on hand to discuss and demonstrate in-home dog training techniques.
Food and refreshments til 1pm

Sunday, Oct. 12 – 2pm: Ducks Unlimited Ducks Unlimited, leader in Wetlands Conservation, along with their dog Barley, will be on hand to discuss their organizations and conduct a waterfowl retrieval demonstration.

Other events relating to fishing, photography and Indiana wildlife are also scheduled.

FREE Micro-chipping

Hamilton County Humane Shelter will be micro-chipping at the Westfield Huntington Bank (State Rd. 32 & Carey Road) on Thrusday, September 18th, from 4:30 – 6 p.m.. In addition to free micro-chipping, pet adoptions, beverages and hors d’oeurves will be available.
